A Florence woman charged with a pair of drug-related felonies in October was arrested again Wednesday and charged with felony bail jumping, a class H felony, and class A misdemeanor retail theft after allegedly shoplifting $277.87 in items at the Rhinelander Walmart Supercenter.
Tamara Blome, 38, was arrested after trying to leave the store with 19 stolen items totaling $133.94.
According to a Rhinelander police officer’s supplemental narrative that accompanied the complaint, a Walmart Asset Protection representative reported this was Blome’s third shoplifting case at the Rhinelander location within a month, after stealing seven items worth $98.14 on Jan. 27 and three items totaling $45.79 on Feb. 9.
If convicted, Blome faces fines of up to $10,000 for each of the latest two counts, or imprisonment of up to six years for bail jumping and up to nine months for misdemeanor retail theft, or both.
A court date of April 14 has been set, as well as a signature bond of $1,500 that includes instructions to not go upon any Walmart premises.
