RHS students experience ‘Women in Welding Day’

AirPro Fan & Blower Company recently hosted a “Women in Welding Day” event for students at Rhinelander High School. 

Six female students in grades 9–12 participated in this hands-on experience, where they met with a female welder who shared her career journey, training pathway, and current role within the company.

Each student had the opportunity to suit up and weld, gaining real-world exposure to careers in manufacturing and the skilled trades. 

“We are incredibly grateful to our outstanding partner for creating this empowering experience for our students,” Partners in Education, a collaboration of Rhinelander schools, local businesses and community groups, wrote in a press release.
