Jack H. Bartelme Sr.

Jack H. Bartelme Sr., 83, of Rhinelander, died Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Aspirus Hospital. He was born on October 29, 1942, in Rhinelander, to Earl and Fern Bartelme. He graduated Rhinelander High School, served four years active duty in the United States Navy and was forward deployed for the Vietnam War. After honorably discharged, he worked the rest of his working career at The Paper Mill in Rhinelander for nearly 40 years. Jack loved to hunt, fish, camp, watch the Packers, and do gardening for activities. He is survived by his wife Karen, three sons Tim, Jack Jr.; and Tom, four grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister (Janet Sorgatz).
