Jeffrey M. Zdroik

Jeffrey M. Zdroik, 69, of Rhinelander, died on May 29, 2026, at the Wausau Aspirus Hospital. He was born in Rhinelander on November 15, 1956, the son of Blaise and Helen (Aschenbrenner) Zdroik. He attended schools in Rhinelander, graduating from the Rhinelander High School in 1975. After a few years of college, he went to work for the Rhinelander School District and became the building and grounds supervisor for the district for 36 years, retiring in 2023.

Jeff married the love of his life, Cheryl Fisher on August 12, 1978 and they were blessed with more than 47 years of marriage. 

Jeff enjoyed designing and then building things and working on cars. When he was asked how it is going, he would respond “Normal” until his retirement when the response changed to “every day is a Saturday” He will be missed by his family and his friends. 

Jeff is survived by his wife Cheryl (Fisher), his sons Brandon (Amy Dodge) Zdroik and Cameron (Cassi Oestreich) Zdroik, his grandson Oliver, his sisters Gloria Brady and Barb (Steve) Gillis, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Darlene and his brother Roddy.
