A court date of Feb. 17 has been set for a Crandon man accused of a sexually related crime against a minor.
On Dec. 25 in Rhinelander, Cody Rohe, 19, was arrested and charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age, a class C felony, and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
Rohe is facing a fine of up to $100,000 or up to 40 years in prison, or both, for the first count, and a fine of up to $10,000, or up to nine months in prison, or both, for the second count.
The court date was set in a Jan. 20 adjourned initial appearance, at which Rohe appeared via teleconference from the Oneida County Jail without counsel. Rohe said he qualifies for public defender representation. Cash bond of $10,000 was set on Jan. 15.
