T.A. Solberg Co., Inc. names Weitz president of retail
T.A. Solberg Co., Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Nathan Weitz to president of retail. Bob Jaskolski, who has served as president and CEO, will remain focusing on long-term strategy while Weitz assumes leadership of the retail division.
The transition marks a significant milestone for the company, showcasing its “promote-from-within” philosophy. Weitz, a 29-year veteran of the grocery industry, joined T.A. Solberg Co. in 2004. Over two decades, he has ascended through various leadership roles, including grocery manager, director of center store merchandising, and most recently, vice president of retail.
“Nate has been a cornerstone of our leadership team for years,” said Bob Jaskolski, CEO. “Watching him grow from a department manager to a corporate leader has been a point of pride for this company. His deep understanding of operational excellence and his commitment to our customers make him the perfect choice to lead our retail operations. Nate’s ability to lead high-caliber teams while staying true to the organization’s core values has been a driving force behind the company’s continued growth.”
In his new capacity as president of retail, Weitz will lead the strategic direction of the grocery and convenience store divisions, overseeing all retail operations, and ensuring the continued delivery of world-class service across all T.A. Solberg locations.
A devoted family man and outdoor enthusiast, Weitz resides in the community with his wife and two children. He remains active in local golf and fishing circles when not leading the T.A. Solberg retail team.
