• $1,000 to the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.
• $1,000 to Lakeland Pantry.
• $500 to the Tomahawk Food Pantry.
• $500 to the Nokomis Food Pantry.
This donation comes at a crucial time, as food pantries across the region have reported a steady increase in utilization, reflecting the challenges many families are facing.
Melissa Wrycha, president of the Park City Cares Foundation, emphasized the Foundations commitment to supporting the community: “At the Park City Cares Foundation, we believe in standing alongside our neighbors during times of need. Food insecurity affects so many families, and we are proud to partner with local food pantries to ensure that no one goes hungry. Supporting these essential resources is at the heart of our mission to strengthen and uplift the communities we serve.”
Monetary donations provide pantries with the flexibility to purchase items that fit the needs of their community. Furthermore, every dollar given is equal to about five dollars of food. Food is often purchased wholesale and from local grocery stores offering discounts.
The Park City Cares Foundation remains dedicated to making a positive impact through charitable giving and community support initiatives.
