Inger Lise Osterdal

Inger Lise Osterdal,  95, of Rhinelander, died on January 5, 2026 at the Rennes Health and Rehab. She was born on January 7, 1930 in Skannerup, Denmark. She was raised in Denmark and moved with her family to the United States in 1952, settling in Chicago. She worked for her husband as a bookkeeper in his goldsmith business for many years. She moved to Hazelhurst, in 1979 and then to Rhinelander in 2019.

Inger enjoyed doing embroidery, doing difficult crosswords in English and Danish and she loved to read, oftentimes a book a day. 

Inger is survived by her son Michael. She was preceded in death by her husband Erling and her son Jens “Jimmy.”
