YMCA Lunch and Learn on food insecurity Jan. 7

The Beck Family YMCA in Rhinelander will host its monthly Forever Learning program on Wednesday, Jan. 7, at noon, at the YMCA. Courtney Smith, director of the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry, will present on current community needs, what lies ahead for the food pantry, and ways community members can get involved. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

This free program, offered through the YMCA’s ForeverWell educational series, is open to the entire community. Attendees are invited to enjoy a potluck lunch or bring their own bag lunch. The potluck theme is “Chicken Soup Pot.” The YMCA will provide chicken and broth; guests are encouraged to bring cooked ingredients to add to the soup, or a side dish or dessert.
