Bruce Kriha

Bruce Kriha, 72, passed away on December 10, 2025, in South Milwaukee. A devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Bruce lived with a joyful heart and a humor that could brighten any room. His generosity, strong spirit, and unmistakable warmth touched everyone blessed to know him.

Bruce built a life centered on family, faith, and the simple joys that brought him the most happiness. A proud member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Bay View, his deep love for the Lord guided him through every season of life. His faith wasn’t just something he spoke about — it was something he lived, through kindness, humility, and a heart always open to others.

Music was one of Bruce’s greatest passions. With a guitar in his hands, he could turn an ordinary moment into something special, filling the room with melodies that reflected his warmth, humor, and love. Bruce also found joy in cooking, and he especially loved celebrating the Christmas season, creating traditions filled with warmth, laughter, and light.

He is survived by his daughters, Nicole (Kriha) Schneider and her husband Brian Schneider, and Crystal (Kriha) Rick and her husband Nathan Rick; and by his beloved granddaughter, Tegan Ciesielski, who brought him immeasurable pride and joy. Bruce is also survived by his sister, Jan Kriha, and his brother, Keith Kriha, along with extended family and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Eleanor Kriha.

Bruce’s legacy is one of music, faith, love, and laughter — carried on in the stories shared, the melodies remembered, and the memories he leaves behind. Though his earthly journey has come to an end, his spirit — loving, joyful, and full of grace — will remain with those who knew him.
