Annual Faith and Fishing Seminar set for March 7 in Rhinelander
The Christian Musky Fellowship Club has announced plans to hold its annual Faith and Fishing Seminar on Saturday, March 7, at Northlife Church, 903 W. Boyce Drive in Rhinelander. The event is free, with a suggested $5 goodwill offering to support the Rhinelander Area Food Pantry.
Doors open at 9:45 a.m., and the seminar is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This year’s featured speakers include Jim Stewart, owner of The Musky Shop in Minocqua. Also presenting is Arnie Wolf, a longtime board member of God’s Great Outdoors who, along with his wife Dee, has operated Rushing Wind Retreat in Ontario for more than 35 years.
The announcement notes that Maurice Potvin, owner of Fisherman of Men Musky Blades, will also speak.
Stewart is listed among the Top 10 all‑time in the Muskies Inc. release contest with 2,237 muskies.
The presenters will share lessons from their time on the water and discuss how faith has influenced their lives and work.
The alcohol‑free event will include door prizes throughout the day — such as musky tackle, lures, gift cards and books on fishing and faith — as well as light refreshments.
The Christian Musky Fellowship Club is described as an interdenominational nonprofit that hosts monthly meetings, fishing outings and other activities.
