Paul Zbigniew Haftarski

Paul Zbigniew Haftarski, 101, of the Town of Stella, passed away at his home on Saturday afternoon, February 14, 2026.

Paul was born in Warszawa, Poland on April 28, 1924, to Kazimierz and Janina (Ensminger) Haftarski. He was raised in Warszawa, Poland eventually emigrating to the United States and settling in Milwaukee. Upon his retirement, Paul moved to Rhinelander in 1984.

Paul loved woodworking and this became his passion.

Surviving are three children, John (Danuta) Haftarski, Margaret (Steve) Roemheld, and Peter (Kathy) Haftarski, five grandsons, seven great-grandchildren and one sister, Irena Clayton. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Marianna Haftarski, second wife, Adeline Haftarski, and his special friend, Lottie.

At Paul’s request, he will be cremated and there will be no visitation or service.
