11th annual Junker Sled races in Three Lakes Feb. 28

The 11th annual Junker Sled races are on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Don Burnside Park in Three Lakes. 

Don Burnside Park access is off of County Highway A just outside of town.

Snowmobiles must be model year 1990 or older, with a $500 cap on the value of a race sled ($300 limit on Slow Leafer Class).

Cost is $10 for admission and free for ages 17 and under. 

According to a press release, it’s a “great outdoor family event for racers and spectators, welcoming amateur racers of all ages.”

The event also includes racing for kids and merchandise, food and refreshments from Three Lakes-Brule River Trails.
