Public involvement meeting for Kemp Street bridge to be held Feb. 16
A public involvement meeting will be held on Monday, Feb. 16, at 5 p.m. to discuss plans for a bridge replacement on Kemp Street over the Wisconsin River.
Discussion will also include impacts to adjacent properties, traffic impacts and construction schedule of the project.
The project construction could begin as early as the summer of 2028. Impacts to city-owned property near the bridge are anticipated for the construction of the proposed structure.
The meeting is at the city hall, 135 South Stevens Street.
A short presentation of the proposed bridge replacement will be provided by representatives of the consulting firm Ayres Associates. Informal discussions will follow the presentation to discuss individual concerns of the project.
Those interested are invited to attend.
