Ribbon cutting at JWMS April 20
The James Williams Middle School is having a ribbon cutting ceremony on April 20 at 4:30 p.m. to celebrate the completion of its construction project.
The project was approved by voters in April 2024 when a capital project referendum was approved in order to “modernizing learning spaces,” according to a Jan. 15 press release by the middle school.
The upgrades include: new tech ed facilities and equipment, remodeled art, choir, band, family and consumer education spaces, updated special education life skills lab and improved office spaces.
The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce will attend the ribbon cutting, as well as Bray Architects, C.D. Smith, the School District of Rhinelander school board, district administration and staff.
A ribbon cutting for the high school project is planned for September 2026.
