Pride Football Camp starts on July 20
High school scheme install and skill contact days for incoming eighth- through 12th-graders is coming this summer. Incoming eighth-graders are welcomed and encouraged to participate with the high school players.
This camp is just as important as regular season practices for high school players. The focus of the camp is to create individual skills and integrate these skills into a team format to prepare for the upcoming season. There will be no helmets or shoulder pads utilized. There will be no live hitting during the camp and extreme caution will be taken with all players. Players need to bring their own cleats and tennis shoes.
Camp Schedule
The camp runs Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua. The schedule is as follows – 5 to 7 p.m. practice, 7 to 7:30 p.m. break and 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. practice. Players from Lac du Flambeau can receive daily transportation pickup and dropoff for camp — pickup is at 4 p.m. at the Ojibwe Market.
Cost
$40 includes instruction, camp shirt and shorts, Gatorade and banana during break and all required equipment.
Camp Staff
Pride Football Camp will be coached and supervised by the LUHS varsity football staff.
