Denim & Dessert Theatre presents ‘Old Time Radio Live’ in Presque Isle May 8-9
Denim & Dessert Theatre presents “Old Time Radio Live” May 8 and 9 at 7 p.m. at the Presque Isle Community Center.
“Come be amazed by the chills and thrills of sci-fi author Ray Bradbury’s ‘Suspense: Zero Hour,’ a comedy from ‘My Favorite Husband: Dinner for 12’ and then the ever-popular ‘Thin Man,’” the press release says.
The light-hearted fare of “Husband” was the prototype for“I Love Lucy” and “The Thin Man” is the original script for the movie starring William Powell, Myrna Loy and Asta.
This is a free live performance with doors opening at 6:15 p.m. for a cash bar. Coffee and desserts are complimentary post-performance. No reservations are necessary.
Denim & Dessert's merry players include newcomers Bob Burton and Wendy Dynarski, and favorites Tom Erickson, Susie Gawriluk, Pam Eschenbauch, Rich Schmalzer, Jay and Helyn Woolf, Mary Watkins, Kath Wilson, and Beth Kost, with Sarah Krembs and Dave Vogt as the radio announcers.
