Timothy (Tim) Francis Pecore, 75, passed away of a massive heart attack Friday March 20, 2026. Tim was born in Rhinelander Dec. 19th, 1950, to the late Raymond J. Pecore and Mary Patricia (Pat) O’Neill Pecore. He was the second of six children. Tim was a life- long Rhinelander resident.
Tim attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Rhinelander High School, Class of 1971.
Tim played in the Rhinelander Fastpitch League for many years. He had a love of all sports but especially loved to watch the Milwaukee Bucks, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Green Bay Packers. He also loved weightlifting, fishing, hunting and to be outdoors.
Tim worked at Bakon Yeast, which was operated by his Dad, for many years. He also worked at Walmart, Trig’s and Save More in Minocqua.
Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents, his sister Joan Palmer, and his nephews Bradley Pecore & Chad Miskowiak, and his brother-in-law Kenneth Rohmeyer. He is survived by his brother Michael (Debra) of Minocqua, sisters Mary Rohmeyer of Schofield, Kathy (Rico) Derrico of Hillside, Ill. and Nora (Ron) Settje of Pahrump, Nev. He is also survived by his nephews, Matt Pecore (Trisha), Ryan Miskowiak, Aaron Miskowiak (Melanie), Erik Palmer, Cory Palmer (Tara), Ben Derrico (Ashley), Jason Bain (Rayna), Jerad Bain (Cheyenne), and his nieces Jessica (Brandon) Eytcheson and Katie Miskowiak, along with numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There will be a celebration of life on June 27, 2026 with a Mass at 11 a.m., and a meal to follow at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery after meal.
