State Representative Rob Swearingen (R–Rhinelander) announced on April 22 that he is running for an eighth two-year term in the Wisconsin State Assembly representing the 34th Assembly District, with the election set for November 2026.
“I’m grateful for the continued support I’ve received from people across the district as I seek another term,” Swearingen said. “My experience as a small business owner has given me a real understanding of the pressures facing families and employers, from rising costs to skyrocketing property taxes.”
Swearingen and his wife, Amy, have been married for 33 years and live in the Rhinelander area, where they raised their two daughters. The couple owned and operated the Al-Gen Dinner Club for three decades.
