Chase Verbist was 3-for-5 in the contest, while Kadyn Taylor went 2-for-5 with two runs and the sacrifice bunt that scooted Verbist into scoring position in the bottom of the ninth.
Aleece Johnson pitched a complete game for the Hodags. She allowed seven hits, two earned runs, and three walks. In the seventh, eighth, and ninth, the Hodags had one-two-three innings behind Johnson, who had seven strikeouts on the night.
