Guitar restringing event to benefit Oneida County Humane Society

Northland Music Center will host a special guitar re-string event for charity on Saturday, April 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with all donations benefiting the Oneida County Humane Society.

During the one-day event, guitar players can bring in their acoustic or electric guitars for a free restringing with a donation to the shelter. Donations may include cat litter, cat food, dog food, dog treats, or monetary contributions to help support local animals in need. 

Bass guitars will also be accepted, with customers only paying for the cost of strings and no labor fee when making a donation.

The event is being held in partnership with one of the world’s leading string manufacturers, and will also highlight the importance of recycling used guitar strings, helping reduce waste while keeping instruments playing their best.
