A convicted sex offender released to the Rhinelander area in 2022 is in the Oneida County jail after allegedly failing to report a change of address.

Timothy S. Henk, 64, was convicted in 2001 of kidnapping/seize or confine without consent and second degree sexual assault/use of force.

On April 2 he was charged with one count of sex offender — fail to update information. If convicted of the Class H felony, Henk faces a fine of up to $10,000, imprisonment of up to six years, or both.

A court date of May 21 has been set at the Oneida County Courthouse.
