Nancy Lou Schultz, 78, of Rhinelander, passed away on Saturday morning, March 28, 2026, at the Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital with family surrounding her.
Nancy was born in Rhinelander on February 29, 1948, to Clyde and Virginia D. (Marmes) Rodman. She was raised in Rhinelander and attended Rhinelander public schools. Nancy was united in marriage to James T. Schultz on June 5, 1971, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. She had been employed at Taylor Park Nursing Home in the kitchen for 10 years.
Nancy enjoyed working on Sudoku puzzles, shopping, the occasional trip to the casino, and playing cards. The one thing she loved was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, of 54 years, James, one daughter, Angela (Marvin) Sivertsen of Rhinelander, three grandchildren, Samantha Heinzen, Marvin Sivertsen (Makayla Kane), and Peder Sivertsen (Emily Balke), four great-grandchildren, Ryder Heinzen, Brynnlee Heinzen, and Ariella Kane, and Hadley Sivertsen. Also surviving is one sister, Laurie Rodman, of Rhinelander, and by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Steve (Peggy) Rodman, three sisters, Joan (Dennis) Pietrzyk, Barbara (Jack) Malone and Judy Rodman, and by one niece, April Rodman.
