Oneida County ADRC announces April community events
The Oneida County Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) will host several community events in April, offering opportunities for learning, social engagement, and creative activities for older adults and individuals with disabilities.
A floral shop will visit the ADRC on April 17 at 10 a.m. to lead a planting activity and share Earth Day tips. Pizza and soda will be served for lunch, and a $5 donation is suggested. Community members are encouraged to reserve a spot by April 15 by calling 715-369-6170. Transportation inquiries can also be made when registering.
A movie viewing of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” will take place on April 24 at 10 a.m. at the ADRC. Attendees will receive complimentary popcorn during the screening.
A free card-making class will be held April 30 from noon to 2 p.m. at the ADRC. All supplies will be provided for an afternoon of guided card creation, along with tea and light snacks. Participants are welcome to join the ADRC for lunch beforehand at 11:30 a.m. Registration is required by calling 715-369-6170.
