JWMS swimmers take home meet

The James Williams Middle School girls’ swim team won all three legs of its triple dual at the Heck Family Community Pool on Tuesday, defeating Tomahawk 123-75, Merrill 119-79 and Antigo 150-46. 

Individual winners for the Hodags included Stella Beach, who took the 100-yard individual medley (1 minute, 8.67 seconds) and 100 freestyle (1:00.47) and Charlotte LeClair, who won the 50 butterfly (32.76) and 50 breaststroke (33.31).

Rhinelander also won the 200 freestyle relay with Beach, LeClair, Reese Rossing and Amelia Berghammer (2:01.08) and the 400 freestyle relay with Beach, Rossing, LeClair and Natalie Then (4:29.95).
