Janet G. Mittelsteadt
Janet G. Mittelsteadt, 87, of Rhinelander, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 6, 1937, to Ervin and Cora (Asmundson) Sommers. She had worked at A & W restaurant as a car hop and then at Montgomery Wards, in Rhinelander.
She married Lyle Gilman and together they had five children. Lyle preceded her in death on December 24, 1972. She married James E. Jan liked to read and was an avid Packer and Brewers fan but what meant the most was spending time with her family.
