SDR, NAMI Northern Lakes team up for mental health presentation

The School District of Rhinelander Community Education Program is partnering with the Northern Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to offer a series of free presentations on NAMI’s mission and important mental health topics.

NAMI Northern Lakes: The Mind Matters

Join us for a six-week course focused on building community connections through NAMI Northern Lakes. This course offers an overview of NAMI, along with essential topics such as Mental Health 101, Family to Family Support, Peer to Peer Support, Raise Your Voice Programming, and various resources available within our community. Open up to a more mindful approach to caring for yourself and your loved ones.

Event details

Mondays, Sept. 22 to Oct. 27, 6 to 7 p.m. All ages welcome. A NAMI Northern Lake board member will be the instructor. There is no fee, but donations to NAMI are appreciated. In room 111 at Rhinelander High School. Register by Sept. 18.
