Rhinelander schools welcome new professional staff for 2025-26 school year

On Monday, Aug. 25, the School District of Rhinelander, Rhinelander Partners in Education (PIE), and the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up to host a special orientation day for the district’s newest professional staff.

The morning began with helpful sessions designed to introduce staff to School District procedures and provide key information for the year ahead. From there, the group climbed aboard a bus for the “Welcome to Rhinelander Tour,” a chance to see school buildings and explore some of the community’s most notable spots.

A favorite stop along the way was the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce, where staff gathered for a fun photo in front of the Hodag. The Chamber also surprised them with welcome goodie bags—a thoughtful gesture that gave the newcomers a warm reminder of the community spirit that defines Rhinelander.

The day wrapped up at CAVOC with a relaxed lunch, where local leaders shared valuable information about their organizations and businesses, highlighting ways they can partner with schools and help connect classrooms to the community. Adding to the hospitality, beverages were generously provided by Nicolet National Bank.
