Brian Lee Sinclair, 67, of the town of Bundy, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill, after a year-long battle with cancer.
Brian was born in Skowhegan, Maine, on October 8, 1958, to Bernard L. and Lucy (Coro) Sinclair. He was raised in Athens, Maine, where he attended grammar school and graduated from Madison High School in 1976. He was employed in the wood product industry, managing several product facilities in northern Wisconsin and Maine. In 1989, Brian moved to Rhinelander, taking a position at U.S. Stick until 1995. He met Joyce Pulec in Rhinelander, and the couple was married on June 28, 1997. The couple lived in Bundy, where they raised their children.
Brian enjoyed teaching his sons how to hunt and fish. Notably, Brian helped his sons build several deer stands. He was involved as a youth sports supporter, volunteering as a coach for soccer and baseball. Brian also enjoyed annual trips to Maine to reunite with family and to visit grandchildren. He was an avid and skilled card player of any game, but especially enjoyed cribbage, Canadian cribbage, and any type of poker. He played with his poker buddies weekly and often placed in local tournaments.
He will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Joyce Pulec-Sinclair, his mother, Lucy (Coro) Sinclair of Solon, Maine, his children, Jeremy (Ashley) Sinclair, Brady (Sarah) Sinclair, Bryce Sinclair, Jacob Sinclair, and Ben Sinclair (Savannah Seefeldt), grandchildren, Harper, Georgia, Amara, Willow, and Kash. Also surviving are his siblings, Joy (Ron) Richards, Judy (Bill) Bowman, Brent Sinclair, and Jean (Curt) Haynes. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, a special niece, Casey Wagner, and other relatives and friends.
Brian is preceded in death by his father, Bernard Sinclair.
A celebration of Brian’s life will take place on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Cabaret Cove, located at 1540 Pueblo Drive, Rhinelander.
