Tourism grant funding available for non-profit groups and organizations

The Rhinelander Tourism and Marketing Committee (RTMC) in collaboration with the Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2026 Room Tax Community Grant. This grant will operate with a single cycle, providing a streamlined opportunity for funding. If you have a tourism-based event or project planned for 2026, you are encouraged to apply.

The Room Tax Community Grant is designed to support initiatives that enhance the Rhinelander and town of Pelican areas, with a focus on attracting visitors and encouraging them to extend their stay. Grant applicants are encouraged to propose events or projects that will draw people into the area, creating a lasting impact on the local economy. All grant criteria can be found on the application. The RTMC will not fund for-profit organizations.

Applications can be found on www.RhinelanderChamber.com. Applications must be turned into the chamber by 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14. Electronic or paper applications will be accepted. RTMC will review all applications during the December committee meeting.
