Oneida County Economic Development Corporation to hold Fall Summit Oct. 22


The Pines Event Center will be the host of the 2025 Oneida County Economic Development Corporation (OCEDC) Fall Summit this year. The summit will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct 22. There will be a light networking lunch with area business partners followed by speakers. The lunch will include a “build your own” salad and sandwich with side options, soda, water, coffee and dessert.

Molly Gruett, instructor of business administration at Nicolet Area Technical College will share her presentation Work ON your business, not IN your business. She will be giving tips for organization, goal setting, knowing the resource pool and focusing on strengths.

John Koskinen, chief economist with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue will share hie expert economic analysis that has positioned him as an authority on Wisconsin’s economy. His detailed presentation will highlight how the state’s economy is the most competitive it has been in many years.

Many partners have come together to put on this summit, including SBDC UW-Stevens Point, Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce, Minocqua Area Visitors Bureau, Three Lakes Area Visitors Bureau, Oneida County Tourism Council, Nicolet Area Technical College, Northeast Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Central Wisconsin Economic Development, Northwest Connection Family Resources.
