Girls’ golf: Rhinelander 10th/10, WIAA Regionals

The Rhinelander High School girls’ golf team shot 453 and look 10th in a 10-team WIAA Division 1 regional Wednesday at Brown County Golf Course near Green Bay.

Nevaeh Anderson led the Hodags with a round of 99. She tied for 23rd in the 50-player field and finished seven strokes off of the individual cutline. Claire Yunkers shot 109, Karlie Yunkers shot 116, Ella Miljevich carded a 129 and Hayley Schiek shot 135.

The result ended the inaugural season for the Hodag girls’ golf team.
