Rhinelander man dies in Marathon County crash

A 72-year-old Rhinelander man died on Nov. 22 in a single-vehicle crash in Marathon County.

According to a press release from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office, the crash, which occurred near the intersection of County Highway W and Alamo Road in the town of Texas, occurred just before 6 p.m. Saturday.

The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, William Kibler, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The investigation into the crash continues.
