Library board vacancy representing the town of Newbold

The town of Newbold is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Rhinelander District Library board of directors. The appointment runs through April 30, 2027.

This is a volunteer position for someone who values community service and believes in the importance of a strong public library. The board has a major facility improvement project and a capital fundraising campaign underway. 

We’re looking for an engaged Newbold resident who will:

• Support the library’s growth and long-term vision. 

• Take an active role in board discussions and decision-making. 

• Prepare thoughtfully for meetings and bring a constructive voice to the table. 

• Help ensure responsible use of public resources.
