Timothy David Musson, 73, of Rhinelander, died on May 5, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 8, 1951, in Rhinelander, the son of Bernard and Lynnette (Anderson) Musson. Tim was a 1969 graduate of Rhinelander High School. He enjoyed participating in sports during his youth and high school years including football, basketball and baseball.
Tim took partial ownership of Musson Brothers, Inc. in 1982 when his father Bernard (Bun) passed away. In the 1980’s, along with his uncle Dexter Musson, they continued to build the company by starting to bid state DOT projects, and in 1987 did the company’s first job in Southeastern Wisconsin. This was followed by the opening an office in Southeastern Wisconsin in 1993. In the mid-1990’s Tim took sole ownership of the company. He initiated the development of a pipelining division that now works in several states across the country. He believed very much in the success of the company and it’s employees, as well as the success of the Rhinelander community as a whole.
Tim always wanted to make sure others were happy and having fun. He loved to travel and spend time with friends and family. He most certainly liked to live life at the edge, and to the very fullest. There are countless stories about his adventures that will live on in the hearts and minds of those that were blessed to be a part of them. His kind, generous, charming and charismatic personality was what drew people to him in every area of his life and is the reason why he will be missed by so many.
Tim is survived by his wife Aloyma Nunez Perez, his daughters Melanie (Michael) Sikma and Nicole (Jeff Borchardt) Musson, his grandchildren Jake and Joe Sikma, his sisters Sue Kerr and Michelle (Mark) Cornelius, his brother Dan (Jenny) Musson, his stepdaughters Meybelin Santos, Teri (Dean) Schwab and Chrissy (Paul Gleissner) Klumpner, his stepson Michel Lara, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Andrea and his brother-in-law John Kerr
A celebration of Tim’s life will take place at Holiday Acres Resort on Friday, May 9 starting at 1 p.m. Casual attire please, as Tim would want everyone to be comfortable, so they can enjoy their time together remembering the good ol’ days. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Tim’s name and any gifts may be directed to his family. You may leave your private condolences for the Musson family atwww.calsonfh.com.
