Community, staff and students invited to help 3rd graders raise money for water filters, wells in Africa

The School District of Rhinelander third grade classes are once again having a Penny War to raise money to donate toward water filters or to go towards a well for a community in Africa. The Penny War will run from May 12 to May 23. In the past five years, students in the district have raised over $20,000, enough for four wells. This is part of the reading/writing/social studies curriculum. If you would like to help us out by donating, please email Jenny Prom at [email protected].
