Rhinelander celebrated the state title won by the Rhinelander Ice Association’s Peewee A hockey team with a parade through downtown Thursday, March 13. The WAHA Peewee 3A champion Hodags were paraded up Brown Street by units from the Rhinelander police and fire departments. 

The Hodags defeated Somerset in overtime 3-1 March 9 to claim the state title, the first for the Rhinelander Ice Association since 2008.
