Applications now open for Young Entrepreneur Market in Eagle River

The Eagle River Revitalization Program is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Young Entrepreneur Market (YEM!) program! YEM! is a hands-on program designed to empower youth ages 10-17 by helping them turn their ideas into successful businesses through mentorship, education, and real-world market experiences.

To prepare young entrepreneurs for success, YEM! is offering a series of interactive training workshops leading up to the 2025 market season. These sessions will provide guidance on business planning, marketing, pricing, and sales, as well as hands-on practice with booth setup and customer engagement.

Friday, March 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eagle River City Hall. Special thanks to IncredibleBank who is the lunch sponsor! Kickstart your business journey! Meet YEM! mentors, explore ideas, and start developing a business plan.

Friday, April 11, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eagle River City Hall. Deep dive into key business skills — marketing, pricing, sales tracking, and storytelling — while refining your plan with expert support.

Friday, May 9, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Veterans Resource Center. Get ready for market day! Practice setting up your booth, perfect your pitch, and receive valuable feedback from mentors and community members. n

Each workshop includes lunch, hands-on activities, and personal mentorship to help young entrepreneurs build confidence and launch their businesses successfully.
