Area Fourth of july events
Sunday, June 29
St. Germain
Celebrate on June 29 with 5K and 1K runs starting at 7 a.m.
Then head to the St. Germain Community Park for the Independence Day Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be shopping, food, music, demonstrations and more.
The parade is at 3 p.m. down Hwy. 70.
Fireworks at dusk at the Community Park.
Friday, July 4
Conover
On July 4, Conover’s Independence Day Parade starts at 1 p.m.
Come enjoy the parade on Hwy. K and then head to Conover Town Park for the picnic. Enjoy food, refreshments, music, kid games, and a dunk tank.
End your day with a festive Chain Skimmers Water Ski Show, 7 p.m. on Lake Pleasant.
Eagle River
Eagle River’s Fourth of July celebration, “Party in the Street” is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., in downtown Eagle River. It includes family games, music, food, and a beer garden.
The parade will be 11 a.m. to noon down Wall Street downtown.
Fireworks after dusk at the south end of the airport.
Lac du Flambeau
The Fourth of July celebration begins at 11:30 a.m. with a kiddie bike parade followed by the Fourth of July parade at noon. Live music after the parade.
All day food and craft vendors.
Waaswaaganing Indian Bowl Pow Wow gates open at 5 p.m., preshow at 6 p.m., Pow Wow at 7 p.m.
Fireworks at dusk.
Lake Tomahawk
The kids’ Fourth of July parade is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Children and parents are to register at 1:30 p.m. at Barefoot Park. Top three prize winners will be determined after at Snowshoe Park concession stand.
That will be followed by the town’s Fourth of July parade at 2:30 p.m.
Parade floats and other units will line up for that parade on Bluebird Road.
The Snowshoe Baseball game featuring the Chicago All-Stars and the Lake Tomahawk Snowhawks starts at 7:30 p.m. and the town’s fireworks display takes place after the game.
Land O’ Lakes
Celebration begins July 3, with a concert, food vendors, beer garden and fireworks. Gates open at 5 p.m. Show starts at 10:15 p.m. at the Land O’ Lakes Airport.
On July 4, there is a Three Bear 5K run and a 1K run. Races start time is 9 a.m. from Luoto’s Fitness.
The Independence Day Parade is at noon, followed by Party in the Park until 4 p.m. at the Land O’ Lakes Pavillion and Park. There will be water slides, blow ups for kids and adults, live music, BBQ, games, and so much more.
Manitowish Waters
The Fourth of July parade will be at 1 p.m.
The Skiing Skeeters water ski show at Rest Lake Park is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
On July 5, there will be an Independence Day firework show at dusk at Koller Park.
Mercer
On July 3, there will be a Street Dance at Around the Corner Pub.
On July 4, celebration starts with the 19th Annual Run for a Vet 5K Fun Run or Walk at 8 a.m. at MECCA Trails.
The parade will start at 11 a.m.
Fun at the Park, 2 p.m. at Carow Park.
Fireworks at dusk.
Minocqua-Arbor Vitae-Woodruff
On July 4, the Minocqua Freedom Run starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Bearskin Trail.
Minocqua’s Fourth of July celebration begins with a kids’ parade at 3:45 p.m.
Main parade takes off at 4 p.m.
The Min-Aqua Bats waterski show starts at 7 p.m. at the Aqua Bowl.
At dark, enjoy the spectacular fireworks show! If you can see the blue water tower in Minocqua, you will be able to view the fireworks.
Phelps
On July 4 in downtown Phelps, all day food trucks and beer tent.
The Grand Parade starts at 3 p.m.
2:30 to 4:30 p.m. live music from Jackson Taylor.
3:30 p.m. Cornhole Tournament.
The boat parade starts at 5 p.m.
From 6 to 10 p.m. enjoy live music from Night Shift.
8 p.m. Chicken Swap 1000 Raffle Drawing
At 10 p.m. there will be fireworks over North Twin Lake.
Rhinelander
This year’s Fourth of July parade theme is: “Road to Independence”.
Kiddie Parade starts at 10 a.m. with lineup at 9:30 a.m.
The main parade is at 11 a.m. and fireworks start at dusk at Hodag Park. Watch from the park or your boat on Boom Lake.
Sayner-Star Lake
On July 4, the annual Plum Lake Fire Department Chicken BBQ from noon to 4 p.m., at the Community Park. Trout pond and other activities too.
Classic car show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Community Park.
At 3 p.m. Fourth of July parade takes place in downtown Sayner.
The Plum Ski-ters water ski team will also have a show at 7 p.m. on Plum Lake.
Fireworks start at dusk.
Three Lakes
Three Lakes Fourth of July celebration begins with the Lions Club breakfast at 7 a.m. at the Three Lakes High School.
Demmer Memorial Library will present a Fourth of July book sale from 9:30 a.m. to noon.
The parade starts at 9 a.m.
After the parade head over to Don Burnside park for food, drinks, a market and live music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Fireworks begin at dusk at Don Burnside Park.
Tomahawk
Fourth of July activities in Tomahawk begin at 8:30 a.m. with 5K, 10K, and Children’s races at Veteran’s Memorial Park.
Lions’ Club chicken barbecue starts at 10 a.m. on Main Street.
Parade starts at 1 p.m. The parade route begins at St. Mary’s on East Washington Avenue, turns south on North Fourth Street, and down Main Street and West Wisconsin Avenue.
Tomahawk Fire Department water fight occurs after the parade on Main Street.
Free water ski show in Kwahamot Bay will be at 8 p.m.
Fireworks will be at dusk. Watch from Kwahamot Bay, SARA Park or Lake Mohawskin.
