The 19th Annual Ride for Peanuts sponsored by District 11 American Legion Riders Association of Wisconsin will take place on June 28 rain or shine. The ride is open to everyone. Participants may either ride their motorcycle or drive any vehicle. The cost is a $10 donation per person per ride sheet. Registration is from 10 a.m. to noon at Northwoods Harley-Davidson in Arbor Vitae. There will be a total of six stops where participants will need to get their sheets stamped. The route is a total of approximately 60 miles.

The ride ends at 5 p.m. in Harshaw. All completed stamped forms need to be turned in by 5 p.m. the day of the ride.

This ride benefits Camp American Legion and proceeds are used to purchase peanuts for the campers to feed to the chipmunks as well as help other veterans programs.

Camp American Legion is the only camp of its type in the United States where the veterans can attend at no cost to them. Come join us on this ride and help make memories that last a lifetime for the veterans that visit Camp American Legion.

There will be raffles and door prizes starting at 5 p.m. for ride participants. For more information, contact Jim Sprague 715-277-4938.
