Leadership Oneida County invites community members and professionals to apply for 2025-26 program year
The Rhinelander Area Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the 2025–26 class of Leadership Oneida County.
This nine-month leadership development program is designed for individuals who live or work in Oneida County and are passionate about making a positive impact in their community. Whether you’re already involved or looking to deepen your engagement, Leadership Oneida County offers the tools, connections, and experiences to help you grow.
Each month, participants explore a different sector of Oneida County — ranging from education and government to tourism and industry. Through interactive sessions, business tours, and conversations with local leaders, participants gain a deeper understanding of the issues and opportunities facing our region.
Alongside this exploration, participants also build their own leadership skills. The program includes personal development activities, team collaboration, and a hands-on community service project that creates real impact.
The 2025–26 program begins in September with a kickoff retreat and continues with monthly, day-long sessions held on the second Thursday of each month. The program concludes with a graduation celebration in May 2026. Sessions typically run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Candidates are encouraged to apply early. Candidates applying from Chamber Member businesses of any Oneida County Chamber of Commerce will get a discounted fee of $400. Non-Chamber Member fees are $450. Program fees include the retreat, assessments and materials. Limited scholarships are available to applicants.
