Joseph J. Jensen

Joseph J. Jensen, 87, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, after a battle with cancer. He was born November 17, 1937, in Racine. On June 8, 1957, he married Joan B. Kerbs. After many years in Rhinelander where Joe worked as a police officer for Oneida County, the couple retired to Green Bay to be closer to family. Joan preceded him in death on December 24, 2020. Joe loved living on Prune Lake, riding his motorcycle and hunting and fishing.

He is survived by a son Tim (Kathy) Jensen of Maryland, his grandchildren, Kaya and Tai Jensen of Maryland and Nicholas (Alyssa) Yerina of Green Bay, a great-grandson Corban Yerina,his longtime companion Bonnie, Wilcox of Rhinelander other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by two children, Sandy (Eric) Yerina and Christopher “Butch” Jensen, brothers and sisters.
