Jo-Ann M Winquist

Jo-Ann M Winquist, 82 of Rhinelander, died on June 8, 2025, at the Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. She was born on January 28, 1943 in Milwaukee, the daughter of John and Elaine (Greeve) Loduha. She moved to Rhinelander as a child and attended schools here graduating from the Rhinelander High School in 1961. After her schooling she held a couple of jobs and then provided day care in her home.

Jo-Ann married Richard Winquist on October 14, 1961 in Rhinelander and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2015. They were blessed with nearly 54 years of marriage.

Jo-Ann enjoyed shopping, going out to eat and more than anything else, spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Jo-Ann is survived by her daughter Kim (Rocky Delap) Vandervest, her granddaughters Nicole (Danny) Cahee and Jessica Vandervest and her great-grandkids Morgan, Brody, Maxwell and Marcus. In addition to her husband she was also preceded in death by her parents, her son Keith and her brother John Loduha.
