Jeffrey Scott Tucci, 63, passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at his home at Milestone Senior Living with his loving family at his side.
Jeff was born in Green Bay, to David and Joyce Tucci. The family moved to Pulaski, living there for four years on a farm. In 1970, Jeff and his family moved to Rhinelander where he grew up on a horse farm. Jeff made Rhinelander his home.
Jeff attended Rhinelander High School until 1980 when he and his childhood friend Glen, enlisted in the United States Army. Jeff traveled the world and always talked about his time in Egypt and seeing the pyramids. While in Egypt Jeff received training in demolition. After his discharge from the Army, he attended school for public service and after decided that wasn’t for him. He then went into construction, building his own home. He continued construction for most of his life. He joined a union construction company and was involved in building the Rhinelander and Weston Hospitals. Jeff also owned and operated the Pelican Ranch Trailer Court for many years.
Jeff loved to hunt and fish and always made his own deer sausage. He raised pigs and had pig roasts for parties.
Jeff was also very mechanical and could fix just about anything. He was a people person and always had many gatherings with family and friends. He taught himself how to play guitar, had a big garden, and made maple syrup every year. He was a do it all kind of guy and was always willing to help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by anyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by brothers, Michael (Evy) Tucci, David (Terry) Tucci, sisters, Janice (Denny) Schreiber, Joanne Tucci, Nancy (Ken) Newman, and Catherine (Michael) Hersey. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, a very good friend, Glen Mutter, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Joyce Tucci, grandparents, nephews and niece, Kevin, Kimberly, Bradly Schreiber, Tyler Tushoski, and Steven Fondie.
Jeff’s family would like to thank the staff at Milestone Assisted Living Memory Care, in Rhinelander, for all of their kind compassionate care they gave to Jeff and his family. We will be forever grateful.
