Jodie Catherine Lassig

Jodie Catherine Lassig, 80, of Rhinelander, died on Sunday, June 8, 2025 at the St. Josephs Hospital, in Joliet, Ill. She was born on February 1, 1945 in Rhinelander, to Erwin and Margaret (Taylor) Lassig.

Jodie enjoyed photography, painting and gardening and loved to spend time with her family, friends and her horses, kitties, and Irish wolfhounds. She especially enjoyed her time with the girls and the horses at Dunroven Farms.

Jodie is survived by Ivan Sobolik, and her sons Phil (Amy) Kriesel, and Jake (Dawn) Kriesel, grandchildren Lauren (Joseph) Gervais, Krystal Kriesel, Taylor (Kyle) Slaybaugh, Nick Kriesel, other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son James, and husband Geoff Parsons.
