Richard H. Jensen

Richard H. Jensen, 78, of Pelican Lake, died on February 25, 2025 at the Rennes Health and Rehab. He was born on July 5, 1946 in Milwaukee, the son of Carl and Alice (Steinberg) Jensen. He was known as Dick to his friends and Papa to his family. On February 25, 1967, he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia Nims, and God blessed them with 55 years of marriage, until her passing on August 5, 2023.

Dick loved living in Pelican Lake for the last 50 years. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, golf, classic cars and winning big on the slots. More than anything he loved the time spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Dick is survived by his daughter Elizabeth (Steven) Gruszynski, his son Richard (Kristin) Jensen, his grandchildren Kyleigh (Eric), Matthew, Mollee, Meghan and Sara, his great-grandchildren Bailey and Alli and his sister Marie Dillinger.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday June 18 at 2 p.m. at the Northwoods National Cemetery. In honor of Dick you may wear something Packer or green for his favorite team and color.
