RHS seeks coaches for boys’ soccer, girls’ golf for fall 2025
Rhinelander High School is seeking a new head coach for the RHS boys’ soccer team and a coach to establish a new girls’ golf team for the fall 2025 season. The job postings were announced this week by the School District of Rhinelander.
For the Hodag boys’ soccer program, the team will be looking for its third head coach in as many years. Nathan Bates returned on an interim basis last season after stepping down following a run to the WIAA state tournament in 2022. John Weigel led the team in 2023. The Hodags struggled to a 4-10-2 record last season.
Meanwhile girls’ golf would be a first-time offering at Rhinelander High School. According to the WIAA, the Hodags would compete as a standalone program in 2025 that would compete in Division 1 in the Green Bay Notre Dame sectional. According to the WIAA, 191 golf programs will compete in 2025 — 115 in Division 1 and 76 in Division 2.
Additionally, the district is seeking middle school head and assistant coaches for both volleyball and softball.
The high school head coaching positions are posted on WECAN - Support Staff: https://wecan.waspa.org/Employer/Vacancy/PublicSupport/3550.
