Northwoods Community Garden plots available

For many people, spring means that it is time to plant a garden. The Northwoods Community Garden in Rhinelander has 12 plots of ground still available. Each plot is a marked out 10x20 feet and costs $40 per year (with four hours of volunteering with the garden, if you would rather not do any volunteer hours, plot rental is $80).

Two raised bed plots are also still available. The Northwoods Community Garden is located at the first parking lot on Nicolet Way, at the northeast corner of the Nicolet College field. 

“Growing your own garden is fun and healthy way to enjoy the outdoors, since we practice a rule of ‘organic or better’” according to garden manager Mike Haasl.
