Diane M. Foss

Diane M. Foss, 74, of Rhinelander, died on May 28, 2025 at the Rennes Health and Rehab. She was born on October 2, 1950 in Rhinelander, the daughter of Richard and Alice (Daus) Mueller. She attended schools in Rhinelander, graduating from the Rhinelander High School in 1969. She then attended UW Superior where she received her BS and master’s degrees in education. She returned to Rhinelander and taught elementary school at the Pelican School for over 33 years.

Diane married Jeffrey Foss on December 28, 1974, in Rhinelander and they were blessed with over 50 years of marriage. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cribbage and reading.

Diane is survived by her husband Jeffrey, her sons Dylan (Tracy) Foss and Drew (Kylee) Foss, her grandchildren Nik, Zak, Alec, Emma, Bradee and Zayden, her great-grandchildren Jaxon and Saint and her brother David (Kathleen) Mueller. She was preceded in death by her parents and her granddaughter Shauna.

A celebration of Diane’s life will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established in Diane’s name and any gifts may be directed to her family.
