Northern Lights Indivisible to hold rally to ‘Stop Science Denial’ in Rhinelander Saturday
Northern Lights Indivisible will hold a public rally Saturday, July 26, from noon to 2 p.m. at Pioneer Park to raise awareness and mobilize community action against what organizers describe as government attacks on science.
Organizers say the federal administration has repeatedly denied scientific evidence, including cuts to cancer research, undermining vaccine safety, rejection of climate-change science and rollbacks of energy-efficiency standards for cars and household appliances. “This isn’t about politics — it’s about facts, lives, and our future,” said a Northern Lights Indivisible spokesperson. “Science saves lives, guides smart policy, and protects our planet. Denying it for political gain is dangerous and unacceptable.” Attendees are encouraged to bring signs, wear science-themed attire and stand in solidarity for truth and evidence-based leadership.
Organizers invite the public to join in “demanding that elected officials stop ignoring experts and start listening to scientific consensus before it’s too late.”
